As part of its ongoing commitment to experiential learning and industry exposure, VIBGYOR HIGH, Kharghar organized a full-day industrial visit for 130 students to Zara Globe Solutions Pvt. Ltd., a leading manufacturer of industrial coatings and construction chemicals under the MELIKA brand.
The visit gave students a first-hand look at how a modern manufacturing and chemical solutions company operates — from the shop floor to the boardroom — bridging the gap between classroom concepts and real-world industry practice.
A Day of Learning Beyond the Classroom
The itinerary was designed to give students a well-rounded understanding of the industry, combining a plant tour, live product demonstrations, and an interactive career-guidance session.
1. Facility Tour
Students were taken through Zara Globe's manufacturing facility, where they observed the end-to-end process behind the company's flagship MELIKA products — including Acid and Alkali Resistant Paint, an Instant Fast Concrete Repair Solution, and other innovative products from the MELIKA range. Team members walked the group through each stage of production, explaining the science, safety protocols, and quality checks that go into every batch.
2. Product Demonstrations
The visit included live demonstrations of select MELIKA products, giving students a practical sense of how industrial coatings and construction chemicals perform in real conditions:
- Acid and Alkali Resistant Paint: Students saw how this specialized coating withstands harsh chemical exposure, making it essential for industrial flooring and surfaces in high-corrosion environments.
